The Law Offices of John D. Pallante recently secured a 2.75 million-dollar settlement for an injured pedestrian in Philadelphia. The accident occurred in April of 2015, while the client was walking by a theatre in the Chinatown section of center city Philadelphia. The theatre had a show that night and a truck delivering equipment for the show was attempting to parallel park on a narrow street near the theatre. The truck driver made an unfortunate decision to back up his tractor trailer without a clear view of the sidewalk or the pedestrians in the area. As a result, the driver struck a lamppost on the sidewalk, which fell over and struck the client on the head.
As a result of the accident, the client suffered significant physical and psychological injuries which he will be dealing with for the rest of his life. Pallante Law worked diligently on the client’s behalf, engaging a team of investigators and experts to fight for justice for the client and ensure everyone involved in this tragedy was held responsible for their actions. It was through this advocacy and diligence that Pallante Law was able to secure the 2.75-million-dollar settlement for the client.
